Hi there 1967 MHS classmates,
Dan Clark (’66) and I have been married 42 years in September. I still put my old bedraggled wedding dress on each year on our anniversary.
After 16 moves over the years, we’ve retired in Punta Gorda, Florida (on the water, boat in the back). Boating is a big part of our lives now and we are frequently on trips.
We kayak on the local waters.
We love being retired but decided it’s not for wimps…busier now than when we were still working…(Dan worked a lot harder than me…I was a part-time artist for hire and part-time counselor/trainer for folks moving from outside the USA into temporary corporate work assignments here…. (which was lots of fun and interesting, meeting folks from all over the world)…I still do the art thing, but mostly applied to my own home and gifts.
We have 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren…and I know I’m biased, but they are all absolutely wonderful ! We see them several times a year and miss them ….but… We also love our time together with friends too.
Our lives have been truly blessed with all the good things of life with just enough difficulty to keep us thankful and stronger for the experience.
Here’s to the class of ’67!
